Kaname Date’s Dreamy Drama Theater: Five Episodes Featuring Chibi Versions of Characters from the Upcoming No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 17, 2025) – Spike Chunsoft Inc. is releasing Kaname Date’s Dreamy Drama Theater, a weekly series of five short anime episodes featuring chibi versions of characters from its upcoming detective adventure/puzzle game, No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES. In each episode, the characters find themselves in unusual situations while trying to introduce some of the game’s features.

No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES launches on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam® on July 25, 2025.

Each episode of this five-part series will be released every Tuesday, starting today through July 15, 2025. The first episode, titled “Quiz Show,” premieres today.

Our protagonist, Kaname Date, takes on the role of a quiz show host, posing questions to four contestants, each of whom responds with bizarre answers...

Episode 2: Cooking Class Premieres: June 24 at 10:00 am PDTInternet idol Iris and her fan, Ota Matsushita, take on a cooking challenge. Ota, who runs a restaurant, acts as the instructor, but things take a turn when Iris starts adding some unusual ingredients.
Episode 3:  24 Hour Policing Premieres: July 1 at 10:00 am PDTPolice officer Date wants to kick down the door of Ota's restaurant. He threatens Ota and demands that he open the door. The confrontation heats up.
Episode 4:  Driving School Premieres: July 8 at 10:00 am PDTIris begins her driving training in Date’s car, but Date soon finds himself caught up in a dangerous situation. Will they make it back safely?
Episode 5: Another World Premieres: July 15 at 10:00 am PDTOta has somehow been reincarnated in another world. He rushes to rescue Iris, who is trapped in a device with a familiar design, but...!
